Villa Di Maiano was my home during my one-week visit of Italy. It’s an old convent that was turned into a sort of hotel if I may call it that.
It’s located in Fiesole, a small town 3-4 kilometres out of Florence. Since it’s in high-altitude, you can get a beautiful view of Florence from there. I tried to take some pics from up there but the iPhone 4 is useless in such situations which is where a proper DSLR may come in handy.
This place is a paradise for those people who like to get away from everything. It’s super quiet and yet close to anything one needs.
I am too lazy to find out what their website is but a simple Google query will tell you anything you need to know.
